Loop1 is a proud contributor this year to the River City Scholarship Foundation. This is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and provide higher education to the youth of Texas.
RCSF raises money and donates to the scholarship funds for the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo. The River City BBQ mission is the primary fund raiser for the organization which started in 1997 with one stall and 1 BBQ pit at the Star of Texas Rodeo. Today they are an award winning outfit with over 200 volunteersand donate over $200,000/year towards educating the youth of Texas.
Loop1′s Courtney Tarillion was able to make it out to the Rodeo last week and got some pictures of the festivities for us.
